# Radiants

Radiant Pokémon, the rarest look a Pokémon can have on Cobblemon AU.

## ✨ How to get a Radiant

### 🌿 Find one in the wild

**1 in every 5 shinies is a Radiant.** With normal shiny odds (1 in 32,768), that works out to about 1 in 164,000 spawns. Anything that boosts your shiny odds, like [catch combos](/cobblemon-au-docs/pokemon-and-spawns/catch-combos.md) or Shiny Incense, boosts your Radiant odds too.

When a Radiant spawns:

* everyone within 100 blocks gets a message: **"A Radiant Pokémon has spawned nearby!"**
* the Radiant **glows** for 5 minutes so you can spot it
* the whole server gets a spawn announcement

### 🎁 Open a Radiant Crate

Every Pokémon from the **Radiant Crate** is a Radiant. You can buy Radiant Crate keys on the [store](https://cobblemon-au.craftingstore.net/category/545120), where you'll also find the full list of prizes and their odds. Some in-game rewards give Radiant Crate keys too.

Open your keys at the crates on the Hub (`/crates`).

## 🖼️ What do they look like?

## 🃏 Radiant Card

The Radiant Card turns one of your own Pokémon into a Radiant. It's a rare prize in the Radiant Crate.

1. Send out the Pokémon you want to change.
2. Hold the Radiant Card and right-click the Pokémon.

The Pokémon becomes a shiny Radiant. The card won't work on a Pokémon that's already Radiant, and it's only used up if it works.
